That’s not a silvery paint scheme on this Remington Custom and Swarovski scope. It’s September frost after a Dall’s sheep hunt bivouac in The Alaska Range above tree line. You don’t know how cold tundra can be until you’ve had it suck the heat out of your hip bones for 8 hours. And those reflective emergency heat blankets? Misnomer. On the bright side, the 300 WSM and Z3 3-10x42 drilled a ram at 500 yards. Sheep meat warmed over a willow twig “fire” at 4,500 feet is a lot better than sleeping on the ground there. One wonders how the sheep can endure it. @remingtonarmscompany @swarovskioptik_hunting #dallsheep #dallsheephunting #bivouac #remingtoncustomshop #m700 #swarovskiscope #z3swarovski #300wsm #alaskarange #tundra #camping #frost
