On a scale of 1 to 10, I give the scaled quail a 10. Duh. What a classy, understated, elegant plumage. Helps these short-grass adapted birds disappear in cover you would swear couldn’t hide a snake. How lucky we and our dogs are to be able to hunt them. @standingstonekennels GSPs sniffed them out for us. Efficient and well trained dogs thanks in part to @dtsystems e-collars.
